The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) has made 5 standards with the goal of making Ontario fully available or reachable to persons with disabilities by the year 2025.  The Customer Service Standard is now law and St. Lawrence College is bounded with the requirements of the standard. The Employment Standard is currently under the consideration for adoption.

Thousands of students each year are prepared by SLC for careers in Business, Health Sciences, Computer and Engineering Technology, Applied Arts and Music, and more. SLC offers many courses to students to upgrade their English language skills for academic purposes, in diploma and degree programs.

SLC plays a vital role in making student’s dream a reality by providing with 80+ programs-including post graduate programs in International Business Management, Human Resources and more. EAP/ESL- English language training.  Exciting new degree programs in Bachelor of Business Administration, Behavioural Psychology and Nursing-as well as world-class facilities and a wide variety of services to support students.

Location & Facilities

SLC’s campuses are situated along the St. Lawrence River in eastern Ontario which covers a distance of two of Canada’s largest cities, Toronto and Montreal. SLC is closer to Ottawa, the nation’s capital.

 One of the oldest and most beautiful communities in Ontario is Brockville which is the eastern gateway to the 1000 Islands, and it is a waterfront. Persisting a beautiful park setting right on the St. Lawrence River, the Cornwall campus is small enough to be personal, and provide for a variety of extracurricular activities.

It is Located on the shores of Lake Ontario; Kingston campus is the college’s largest. Kingston has a growing downtown which is rich with history, culture and nightlife.

St. Lawrence College is known for its vibrant campus life and a supportive, close-knit community environment. It provides a range of student services designed to help the students to succeed: libraries; writing and math tutoring; peer tutoring; student success facilitators; varsity and recreational athletics programs; state-of-the-art fitness facilities; health center; and counselling and disability services. SLC also deals with the ongoing workshops about finances and money management, and improves the study methods and more.

Residences of SLC are secure and having a convenient accommodation and provides a comfortable environment to students. It’s a great way to get start with a college for the students who are staying away from home so that they can meet new people and can get new lifetime friends through the residence experience.
